Fun In The Sun In Umhlanga
THE Umhlanga Summer Carnival at Main Beach is hotting up, with a SABC beach cricket tournament planned for tomorrow (18 December). Beachgoers are encouraged to get involved and coaches will be on hand to give budding players some pointers and to promote the Indian cricket tour, which started at Centurion yesterday.

The festival began last week with heats for the Miss, Ms Mum and Mr Umhlanga titles. The finals will be held at Max Institute of Fashion, at Gateway, on 22 December. The organisers said the festival was about relaxing and family time, with plenty of fun-filled beach events designed to encourage young and old to participate in outdoor activities.
