Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the 2nd Annual Albinism Conference, scheduled to take place on 17-18 October 2013.
The two-day conference will start with a walk on 17/10/13, where people living with albinism and members of the public will parade from King Dinizulu Park down Dr Pixley Ka Seme Street to the City Hall, as part of celebrating 21 years since the Albinism Society of South Africa was formed. The second day will see different experts and other stakeholders imparting knowledge and sharing ideas on issues affecting people living with albinism.

Amongst issues to be discussed will be; the unemployment of people living with albinism, ill treatment and myths surrounding their condition. The conference is aimed at offering an opportunity to people living with albinism to discuss issues affecting them, educate the public about albinism and to reflect on the last conference resolutions
