The Performance Monitoring Unit monitors the performance of the organisation’s entities and also provides assistance to officials of the entities and training on performance monitoring.

Durban Theme Park SOC Ltd (RF), trading as uShaka Marine World ('uShaka'), a R70million flagship project that developed with the aim of regenerating the Point precinct and has become a major tourist attraction for both national and international visitors alike.

It is KwaZulu Natal's top, highly ranked, family entertainment park that continues to deliver an unmatched, fun experience for all visitors. It has contributed significantly to tourism in the Point precinct  and the whole of Durban, and has recieved accolades and awards over the years.

INkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre 

Opened by former president Nelson Mandela in 1997, the ICC was South Africa’s first International Convention centre and has played a pioneering role in attracting international events to our shores since its inception.

 The complex incorporates the Durban International Convention Centre, The Durban ICC Arena and the Durban Exhibition centre, offering over 11,00m2 of flexible event spacing, making it the largest flat floor, column- free multi- purpose event space in Africa.

In its role as economic catalyst, the Durban ICC has made an immense contribution to both the provincial and national economies since its foundation.  while continuing to receive national and international awards.
